Alyeska Helicopters' Training Programs

Come fly with us in the uniquely challenging Alaska climate that will ready you to fly anywhere!

We offer specialized training in three categories of Flight Training: Initial Certification Programs, Add-on Rating Programs for current pilots, and Recurrency Training.

We offer training under both Part 61 and Part 141 federal regulations. For most students we recommend enrolling in a Part 141 program. These programs are required to follow a FAA approved syllabus with formal groundwork. Part 141 will also allow for a student to apply for financial aid. Part 61 does not require formal ground school and has more flexibility in the curriculum.

Program costs are based on FAA required minimum flight time. Most students require additional training to reach the necessary proficiency levels.

Lengths of programs are based on a four day a week schedule.
