  • Our newest CFI!!! - April 24th

    Congratulations to Deb Moseley. All her hard work paid off, and she passed her CFI Check Ride today with Hon Kinzie. Great job Deb!!!

  • Come visit the pilots and staff of Alyeska Helicopters! - April 16th

    Alyeska Helicopters is looking forward to our imminent move to Merrill Field at the begining of May.  We are also excited about having a booth again at this years Alaska Airman's Association Tradeshow held at the FedEx Hangar at Ted Stevens International Airport on April 30th - May 1st.  We look forward to seeing and talking with you at both locations!

  • Spring 2011 at Alyeska Helicopters - April 16th

    The weather is getting better, the days are getting longer, and the checkrides and solos are happening like never before!  So far this Spring we have 3 students flying their inital solos and 3 passing checkrides.  Keep up the good work!

  • Another Private Pilot checkride passed! - October 15th

    Congratulations to Sean McLaughlin on passing his Private Pilot (Rotorcraft) checkride.  Now, the next helicopter he'll be flying is Airwolf!

  • Alyeska Helicopters is now Part 141! - August 30th

    Alyeska Helicopters received it's Part 141 certificate today.  Tomorrow we'll be getting to work on our applications for Veterans Affairs benefits, federal grants, state loans, etc... 

  • Alyeska Helicopters first International Private Pilot! - June 28th

    Christian Neidlinger came to Alaska to train in the best and most challenging helicopter flying environment in the world and goes home to Germany with his Private Pilot (Rotorcraft) license!

  • Summer's flying right along! - June 9th

    June is off to a flying start with Alyeska Helicopter's first foreign student Chris Neidlinger from Germany and Dan Kimball's first solo flight.

  • Summer 2010 is here! - May 5th

    What a great way to start out summer 2010 then to have an initial solo flight.  Congratulations to Jake Bender!

  • April is off to a great start! - April 13th

    Robert Mullowney opens April with his initial solo flight on the 2nd and Tom Tucker passes his Commercial checkride on the 10th!
